The Mission and Stewardship Ministry encourages the joy of giving. UCC members participate in special offerings each year. One Great Hour of Sharing, Neighbors in Need, Strengthen the Church, The Christmas Fund and Our Churches Wider Mission. Locally, UCC supports Chewelah Food Bank the food pantry.
Youth are ready for more. They ask bigger, more complex questions about God, themselves, and the world around them. They’re ready to take on more responsibility in the life of the church, whether that be in worship, outreach programs, or special events. And they’re eager for larger adventures, whether that be on camping trips to remote destinations or just having fun together.
Chewelah UCC strives to be faithful companions with our middle school, high school and younger children as they discover their journey of faith.
Chewelah UCC supports service groups as a church and in partnership with Chewelah Faith Resources Group (CFRG). Chewelah UCC hosts AA, Girl Scouts, often collects clothing/household items for those in need, supports the local Food Bank, and joins CFRG in sponsoring TASTY (a service to provide supplemental food assistance to families and children during summer months).
